She is survived by: her children, Bertha Bynes of Peekskill, NY, Jacqueline Royster (Richard) of Ossining, NY, John McCrae (Donna) and Sherry McPhatter (Jeffery) of Pinehurst, NC; her siblings, Leon Gaines (Lucille) of Queens Village, NY, Sylvia Gandy and Julia Gandy; her stepdaughters, Johnnie Pearl McLeod Rogers, Wanda Lamar Brown and Vera Gonzalez; and her friend Gloria Fulton. She is also survived by cousins who she loved so dearly, Elizabeth Gaines Reels and Estella Thomas; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
