Melissa Byrnes Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Melissa Byrnes (Greenwich, New Jersey), born in Washington Township, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 31, 2024 at the age of 37. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the sacred silence of farewell, Melissa is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Melissa's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.

She is survived by: her mother Marlene; her husband Jeffrey Maxie; her son Andre Sojo; her siblings, Shane Maxie and Ashley Strayeu (John); her grandmother Jean Byrnes; her nephews, Mathew, Damien Poper and Izaiah; her aunts, Rethea Foster and Catherine Barker; her uncle John; and her cousin John Allen.

A memorial service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Living Water Bible Church (177 Kings Hwy, Mt Royal, NJ 08061).
