She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Bates and Arlene Carson Bates; her brother Joseph Bates, Jr.; and her brother-in-law Edward Czeczuga. She is survived by: her husband Howard N. Bell; her children, Edward Bell (Natalie Bell) and Amy Katherine Bolton; her grandson Hudson Bolton; and her sister Patricia Czeczuga. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
