It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Debra Lotz of Green Brook, New Jersey, born in New Brunswick, New Jersey, who passed away on January 30, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon Newman and Rebecca Newman; her brother Alan Newman; her siblings-in-law, Abraham, Esther Friedman and Philip Friedman; her niece Ferne Friedman; and her nephew Dean Michael Friedman.

She is survived by: her husband Gordon Friedman; her children, Jamie (Orli) of Kibbutz Hatzerim, Israel, Randi and Daniel of Green Brook, NJ; her grandchild Shir Friedman of Be'er Sheva, Israel; her children, Gefen Friedman (Ester) of Kibbutz Hatzerim, Israel, Rebecca Friedman of Arlington, VA and Ashley Friedman of Green Brook, NJ; her grandchildren, Britt and Shoval (Tonu); and her close friend Crucita "Cookie" Lopez. She is also survived by sisters in law, her nieces and nephews and their spouses and children.
