He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert James and Margaret Ann Copen (Savasta). He is survived by: his wife Sandra D. Copen (Linn); his sons, Jeff Copen (Jennifer), Todd Copen (Darla) and Rob Copen (Carolyn); and his brother Larry Copen (Lois). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren.
