He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Van Wallendael and Bette Berkowitz Van Wallendael. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Nebel Van Wallendael; his children, Peter (Gail Smith), Laurie Van Wallendael and Jeffrey Van Wallendael (Karen); and his grandchildren, Acer Van Wallendael (Beth Ansaldi), Alle Van Wallendael, Megan Lichtenstein (Andrew) and Callie Van Wallendael.
