It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Willis Welge of Great Meadows, New Jersey, born in Red Bud, Illinois, who passed away on March 11, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Harold Welge; and his son-in-law Philip Eng. He is survived by: his wife Susan Welge; his children, Joshua Welge (Kelly) and Mary Eng; his granddaughter Claire Elizabeth Eng; and his sister-in-law Cynthia Hitchcock (David Hitchcock).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in John's name to the Food for the Poor, 6401 Lyons Road, Coconut Creek, Fl 33073 or Gethsemane Lutheran Church, 409 East Baldwin Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840.
