Veronica M. Virden Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Veronica M. Virden of Gloucester City, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 16, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Thomas E. Virden, Sr.; her grandson Austin Dobleman; her father Owen Settar; and her siblings, Joseph Settar and Mary Settar.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas E. Virden, Jr., Veronica M. Hemphill, Sharon Lail (Troy) and Lisa Dobleman (George); her grandchildren, Owen Dobleman (Emily), Brianna Indelicato (Anthony), Gabrielle Lail, Ashlee Lail, Barry Hemphill, Troy Lail, Jr. (Maria) and Dalton Dobleman; her great grandchildren, Olivia and Sienna Indelicato; and her children, Charles Settar, Sam Settar, John "Babe" Settar, Winifred Settar, Louise Liebrand and Wilhelmina Dobbins.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the St. Mary's R. C. Church (426 Monmouth St, Gloucester City, NJ 08030). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 1:30 PM at the New St. Mary's Cemetery (515 W Browning Rd, Bellmawr, NJ 08031).
