He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry M. Hofflinger and Mary T. Hofflinger (Bowe); his daughter-in-law Colleen Brown; and his siblings, Roger, George Hills and Ruth Nail.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia R. Hofflinger (Butler); his children, Sharon Hofflinger (Gill), Harry W. Hofflinger, Jr., Joe Brown, Dawn Colofranson (Tony) and Janet Goetz (Pete); and his siblings, Bob Hills (Diane), Barry Hills (Vicki), Brian Hills (Sean), Karen Jones, Barbara Robbins, Regina Morrison and Karen Hills. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren.
