He is survived by: his spouse Maread Gallagher; his children, Brenda (Joseph), Matthew, David and Rory; his grandchildren, J. C., Tyler and Ryan; and his siblings, Peter, Paul, Declan, Rosaleen, Marie, Caroline, Celine, Ann and Patricia. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
