He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward J. Coppers and Anne Coppers; his nephew Jimmy Coppers; and his brother-in-law Ton van der Poel. He is survived by: his wife Cathy; his children, Edward J. (Tuula), Keith (Crista) and Kara McKee (Jim); his grandchildren, Nora, Emily and Matthew Coppers; his siblings, Jim (Lynn), George (Mony) and Carol van der Poel; his niece Amy Coppers Costantino (Cory); and his nephews, Anthony (Nastassja) and Christopher Coppers. He is also survived by his wife of 56 years – his best friend.
Memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association and the American Cancer Society.
