He was predeceased by: his wife JoAnn; and his sister Dorothy Ferrante. He is survived by: his child Jo-Anna L. Martin; his grandchildren, Gabrielle S. Martin and Daria L. Martin; and his brothers, Gerald Snapp (Patricia) and Michael Snapp (Janet). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in William's memory to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, 1500 Rosecrans Avenue, Suite 200, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266.
