He was predeceased by: his wife Alice B. Roehr. He is survived by: his children, Peggy Ingels (Mark), Joseph Hambor, William Hambor (Kathy), Kathleen Roehr, Donna Roehr and Traci Roehr; his grandchildren, Melissa Wheedleton (David), James Hambor, Jordan Hambor and Ned Ingels; his great grandchild Noah Wheedleton; and his siblings, Edna Wasson and Charles Roehr. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, family requests donations be made in John's name to Homeward Bound Animal Shelter in Blackwood , NJ.
