He was predeceased by: his brother Michael; and his parents, James Newell and Catherine Newell. He is survived by: his children, Donna Newell, Jim Newell and Michael Newell; his siblings, Mary Kay Jones (Steve), Loretta Newell and Brian Newell; and his former wife Marie Newell. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
