He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman H. Klein and Frances Greenman Klein; and his brother Jeffrey. He is survived by: his wife Hedy Scheinfeld Klein; his daughter Lauren Jessica; his nephew Charlie; his nieces, Meredith Cohen (Neil) and Katherine; and his pet Milo.
