She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Bonfante and Louise Bonfante; her husband John Scherzer; and her sister Jean Stanco. She is survived by: her sons, Eric (Kristina), Paul (Laura), Kevin (Karla) and Kyle (Kara); her siblings, Samuel Bonfante (Agnes), Gerard Bonfante (Joann) and Donna Rocco; and her grandchildren, Christopher, Mark, Scott, Daniela, Brody, Ella and Sophia. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
