It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Steven Welenteychik (Glen Gardner, New Jersey), who passed away on April 23, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael (Vera Welenteychik) and Steven; his former wife Betty Welenteychik; his wife Marianne Welenteychik; his sisters, Nina Cavlier, Jane Heater and Olga Trimmer; and his stepdaughter Linda Hollenbeck.
He is survived by: his brother Michael Welenteychik; his nieces and nephews, Patricia Robeski, Sharyn Young, Kathi Magocs, Maryann Cavlier, Marc Welenteychik, Michael Welenteychik and Doug Heater; and his stepchildren, Cathy Powell, Karin Fiscaletti, Nancy Mixon, Donald Hollenbeck and Kenneth Hollenbeck.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Martin Funeral Home (1761 NJ-31, Clinton, NJ 08809). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Gregory Palamas Church (5 Church St, Glen Gardner, NJ 08826). A burial was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at the Evergreen Cemetery (1701 NJ-31, Clinton, NJ 08809).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Steven's memory to St. Gregory Palamas Church, 5 Church Street, Glen Gardner, NJ 08826.
