She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Hockenbury and Florence Hockenbury; her husband Bill Border; her son-in-law Lou Spitale; her siblings, Louise Cregar, Dot Dabkowski, Alfred, Harold and Ted Hockenbury; and her sister-in-law Beverly Foley.
She is survived by: her children, Bonnie Border (Curt Daub), Barbra Spitale and William "Billy" Border (Cindy Maiella); her grandchildren, Cierra, Coral, Alexa (Jon) and Michael; her great grandchildren, Aubrey and Emily; and also Richard Foley. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Glen Gardner Volunteer Fire Department.
