Douglas E. Markle Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 20, 2021, at the age of 90, Douglas E. Markle of Glen Gardner, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas Markle and Adaline Markle; his wife Shirley M. Markle; his son Douglas E. Markle, Jr.; and his siblings, Robert Markle, Ethel "Sis" Toretta and Veronica "Tootsie" Mullikin.
He is survived by: his children, Cathy Eberhart (Mark) of Alpha, NJ, Karen VanSolkema (Art) of Washington, NJ and Donald Markle (Rebecca) of Asbury, NJ; his sister Patricia Markle of Washington, NJ; his grandchildren, Douglas, Eric, Amy, Jessica and Megan; and his great grandchildren, Morgan, Avery, Rylee, Brynn, Camryn, Tanner, Lincoln and Broderick.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Douglas's name may be made to Hunterdon Hospice for the exceptional care that he received.
