She was predeceased by: her parents, Edna Beers and Walter Beers; her husband James J. Backer, Sr.; and her siblings, Robert, Pearl, Walter, Viola, Mary and Francis.
She is survived by: her children, Judy Reynolds (George) of Belford, Edith Mac Mullins (Jeff) of Beach Lake and James, Jr. (Roseanna) of Mt. Dora. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
