She was predeceased by: her parents, Roosevelt Gaines and Curley Mae Gaines; and her siblings, John Henry Johnson, Winston, Benny, Lonnie Gaines, Valerie, Doris and Pamela Gaines.
She is survived by: her husband Andre Randells; her sons, Walter and Leroy Merriwether of Glassboro; her nephew Omar Gaines; her grandchildren, Leroy Harden, Tanequa Merriwether, Forrest Graves, Chardae Walls, Aaliyah Merriwether and Deon Merriwether-Tull; her siblings, Lorenzo Gaines, Diane Gunther, Vestine, Carol and Idella Gaines; her close friends, Jeanette Suitor, Ellata Deberry and Elaina Sharp; and her sisters-in-law, Rachael Johnson of Camden, Geneva Gaines of Glassboro and Sorrowfully Submitted of New Jersey. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
