He was predeceased by: his wife Elsie S. Palmer; and his brothers, Earl, Harry, Albert and Leonard.

He is survived by:, Lisa Racite (Alfio Racite), Sandy Hanselman (Henry Hanselman) and Joanne Beecham (Anthony Beecham). He is also survived by his nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
