She was predeceased by: her husband Anthony R. Tierno; her sister Anna Gates; and her parents, Joseph Costa and Millie Costa. She is survived by: her children, Beverly Starling (Michael) of Ocean View, Anthony Tierno (Barbara) of Marmora, Shirley Mehaffey (late Alan) of Elmer, Cindy Ramos (Mark) of Clayton and Robert Tierno (Kristen) of Glassboro; her grandchildren, Michael Starling (Leah), Jaime Doto (Jeff) and Anthony Joseph "A. J."; her great grandchildren, Hanna, Madison, Kayla, Caden, Grace, Kai, Zoe, Michael, Mia, Myles, Ava, Tony, Cody and Declan; and her siblings, Charles Costa, Joseph "Pat" Costa, Rose Kohansky, Angie McClintock, Augustine Costa and Anthony Costa.
