He was predeceased by: his parents, George Lester Dean, Sr. and Emma Jane Dean; his wife Marjorie Janice Dean; his sister Marion; and his brother-in-law Ed Souder.
He is survived by: his sons, George A. Dean (Kimberly), Jeffrey A. Dean (Barbara) and Brian S. Dean (Bridget); his grandchildren, Emily (Garrett), Courtney (Grant), Thomas, Amanda (Philip), Brian (Elizabeth), Austin, Brenna and Brandon; his great grandchildren, Aiden, Lainey, Cali, Maddie, Levi, Emory, Brielle, Henry, Georgie and Benjamin; his niece Diane Capel; and his close friends, Greg and Sue Maynard. He is also survived by his family, friends.
