She was predeceased by: her husband Nick; and her daughter Joann "Cookie". She is survived by: her grandchildren, Orsula Karpathios of Ocean View and Anthony of Washington Township. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Demetria lived through many historical events in her life time, such as The Prohibition, The Great Depression, WWll, her son being drafted for the Vietnam War, The 9/11 Attacks, and spent her last months being quarantined with her family during this historical pandemic.
