With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Walter Tender Jr. of Gibbstown, New Jersey, born in Paulsboro, New Jersey, who passed away on August 30, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Donna Tender of Gibbstown; his daughter Heather Tighe (Gifford Souter) of Dunn; his grandchildren, Sydney JoJo Souter, Willow Bryg Tighe and Liam Elijah Tighe; and also, Loopy and Bessy.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in his memory to City of Dunn, N.C. Animal Facility, 552 JW Edwards Lane, Dunn, N.C. 28334.
