He is survived by: his wife Debbie Higgins; his children, Patricia Nebel (William), David Higgins (Barbara), Peggy Monroe (Wayne), John Higgins, Jr. (Christine) and Teresa Higgins; his stepchildren, Patti Schmutz, Ashley Hartnett (Matthew), Chelsea Fagely (Thomas) and Alicia Armstrong (Joseph); his grandchildren, Billy, Dottie, Kevin N., Kevin H., Sean, Josh, Scott, Kyle, Ellie, Melissa, Ayda, Chase, Cece, Declan, Norah, Sage and Joey; his great grandchildren, Sean, Liam, Chase, Zachary, Jason, Antonio and Nehemiah; and his niece Danielle Walsh. He is also survived by many friends and family.
