He was predeceased by: his sisters, Marilyn Camero and Jeanine Brody. He is survived by: his wife Gladys; his children, Denise Wallace (Richard) and George J. Jr. (Patricia); his grandchildren, Kelly, Dewey, Chalie, Martha and Richard Jr.; his great grandchildren, Steven and Kevin; his great great grandchildren, Brooklyn and Lillie; and his brother Raymond Griggs (June).
