With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruthann Compton (Gibbsboro, New Jersey), born in Decatur, Illinois, who passed away on January 10, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucille Niemann and Aloysius Niemann; and her spouse Phlegar Compton. She is survived by: her daughters, Dawn Bell (Tim) and Wendy Morrison (Rob); her stepsons, Wade Compton (Teri) and Brad Compton; her grandchildren, Rob Bell (Marci), Katie Bell (Brennan O'Malley), Sydney Morrison, Josh Compton (Carolyn) and Christina Walters (Mike); and her siblings, Patricia Grady and James Niemann. She is also survived by extended family and dear friends.
