Schimmel; his sons, Robert Schimmel (Kassiani Chalima) and James Schimmel; his grandchildren, Tabatha Schimmel, Anna Schimmel, Audrey Schimmel, Daniel Locke and Iris Locke; and his sisters, Lois Mengel (Jay), Leslie Vissage (John) and Susan Schimmel.
