With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Theresa Mansourati of Garfield, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 17, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Theresa departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Theresa. Though Theresa may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jack E. Mansourati; and her grandchildren, Christopher Akel and Ainsley Geer. She is survived by: her children, Joylynn Mansourati (William Geer), Philip Akel and Nick Akel (Desiree); and her grandchildren, Brandt Geer, Natalie Akel, Nicholas Akel and Matthew Akel. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Aloia Funeral Home (180 Harrison Ave, Garfield, NJ 07026). A graveside service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the George Washington Memorial Park (234 Paramus Rd, Paramus, NJ 07652).
