He was predeceased by: his siblings, Roxanne and Dennis Nordt. He is survived by: his wife Sandra; his children, Steven Nordt, Jr. (Jilleen), Jessica Schultheis (Daniel) and Meagan Nordt; his grandchildren, Dietrich, Hansel, Elizabelle, Ginevieve, Sven and Alaric; and his siblings, Allen Nordt (Pattie), David Nordt (Maggie), Frank Nordt (Joan) and Sheron Nordt.

In lieu of flowers the family is accepting donations to the Pilgrim Camp, 1542 Palisades Road, Brant Lake, New York 12815.
