She was predeceased by: her parents, Anna Madeja and Stefan Madeja (Blazej Soltys); her son Blazej Soltys; her grandson George Biziak; her sons-in-law, Andrzej Zachwieja, Walenty Biziak and Boleslaw Kalafut; and her brothers, Jozef Madeja, Jan Madeja and Stefan Madeja.
She is survived by: her daughters, Marta Kalafut and Anna Zachwieja; her grandchildren, Ewa Blaszczec (Wojciech), Jolanta Puzio (Marcin), Barbara Soltys, Jessica Kopcza (Adam), Andrzej Zachwieja (Zofia), Marzena Galowicz (Jan) and Justyna Mortillaro (Louis); her great grandchildren, Alexander Kopcza, Lukas Kopcza, Christopher Zachwieja, Zaneta Zachwieja, Oliver Zachwieja, Michael Galowicz, Daniel Puzio, Izabela Puzio, Elana Mortillaro and Elias Mortillaro; and also Helena Soltys.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Van Tassel Funeral Home (337 Belleville Ave, Bloomfield, NJ 07003). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location.
