He is survived by: his parents, Geri Oshinowo (Tayo) and Jorge L. Merced, Sr.; his sister Teresa Merced (Courtney Marsh); his uncle James; his aunt Pauline Scaglione; his cousins, James, Nick Scaglione, David Lebron, Titi and Andrea Lebron; and his pet Charlie. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends.
In lieu of flowers the family will accept memorial gifts to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention - New Jersey Chapter.
