He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edward Sr. Staal and Jeanette Staal; his wife Rose Staal; his daughter Jeanette Nelke (Richard); his grandchildren, Ryan and Aiden Nelke; and his siblings-in-law, Pina Cannella, Concetta Vonoflorio, Stefano Cannella and Carmelo Cannella.
