He was predeceased by: his son Christopher Florkevicz; his wife Rita Alice Florkevicz; and his parents, Lena Florkevicz and Edward Florkevicz. He is survived by: his children, Susan Florkevicz and Joseph Florkevicz; his sister Elaine Lynch (Charles); his pet Winnie Pooh; his nieces and nephews, Pat, Ryan and Kelley Lynch; and his great-nephew Dillon.
