With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Donald Saunders Leak (Garfield, New Jersey), born in Hamburg, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 24, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Donald Saunders shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Donald Saunders farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

He was predeceased by : his brother Arthur. He is survived by : his wife Elaine; his son Donald Mark Leak (Joan); his grandchildren, Heather Cardone and Christie Reneer; his daughter Susan Blanche Cugno (Rick); his grandson Derek Wiesing; and his brother William (Shirley). He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.

A burial was held on Saturday, June 29th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Michael's Cemetery (120 Saddle River Ave, Garfield, NJ 07026).
