He was predeceased by: his brother Arthur. He is survived by: his wife Elaine; his son Donald Mark Leak (Joan); his grandchildren, Heather Cardone and Christie Reneer; his daughter Susan Blanche Cugno (Rick); his grandson Derek Wiesing; and his brother William (Shirley). He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
