He was predeceased by: his spouse Joan Howey (Wildrick); and his siblings, Malvin, Kenneth, Robert, George, Joyce Conklin and Phyllis Boyer.
He is survived by: his spouse Joan Wildrick (Howey); his children, Donald E. Jr. (Georgette) of Sunbright, Donna M. Bensley (Dale) of Branchville and Charlene Howey (Carl) of Sussex; his siblings, Irene Hardick of Pennsylvania, Barbara Snook of Sussex and Ronald of Hampton; and his grandchildren, Crystal Dutzi, Carl Howey Jr., Robin Harvey, Nicole Ricci, Melody Kooger, Catherine Tomasulo, Donald Howey and Lauren Howey. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren as well was many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Blue Ridge Rescue Squad.
