It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Deanna Steup Smith of Garfield, New Jersey, born in Passaic, New Jersey, who passed away on May 18, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Scott Smith; her parents, Doreen Steup of Clifton and Eugene Steup; her siblings, Stephanie Gavrieli (Michael) of Nutley and Ryan Steup (Diana) of Nutley; her aunts and uncles, Jane Kooch of Clifton and Kim Robbins of Pilesgrove, Cherished; her nieces and nephews, Chloe, Ava and Theo; her father-in-law Scott Smith of Fair Haven; and her pets, Luna and Brody.

In lieu of flowers, donations made towards either Colon Cancer Research http://www.cancer.org, or Jersey Cats http://www.jerseycats.org, in memory of Deanna, would be greatly appreciated.
