Rita M. Truax Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rita M. Truax of Galloway, New Jersey, born in Atlantic City, New Jersey, who passed away on April 19, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Eugene G. Truax Jr.; her son David; her father David; her in-laws, Eugene G., Sr. and Elizabeth (Betty); and her son-in-law Frederick Schroer Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Tamera, Erich (Nikki) and Keli-Jo; her grandchildren, Melanie Schroer (Steve Foell), Rebecca Small (Charles III), Mike Erwin (Brittany), Corey Truax (Nicole), Michael Truax, Jeffrey Giannini (Laura Weierheiser) and Fred Adkisson; her great grandchildren, Theresa Foell, Nicholas Foell, Mazikeen Small, Charles Small IV, Brayden Erwin, Emmett Erwin, Avery Erwin, Carter Truax, Finley Truax, Owyn Martinez, Irvyn Giannini and Nohlyn Giannini; her grandchild Gail Dent; her niece Terri-Ann Dent-Hamilton; and her nephew Roger Dent. She is also survived by great-great nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church (591 New Jersey Ave, Absecon, NJ 08201). A Mass will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Laurel Memorial Park (2301 English Creek Ave, Egg Harbor Township, NJ 08234).
