He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Hoffman and Mamie Hoffman (Pickel); his wife Gloria Hoffman (Good); and his brothers, Robert Hoffman and Leland Hoffman.

He is survived by: his son Brian R. Hoffman of Phillipsburg, NJ; and his grandson Blaine Hoffman of Alpha, NJ..
