She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Desmond Chastanet; her parents, Ignatius Groeller and Katharina Weiss Groeller; and her brother Julian Groeller. She is survived by: her children, Catherine Chastanet (Theodore Leighton), Teresa Scriptunas (Jerome) and Dr. Robert Chastanet (Rachel); her grandchildren, Bridget, Audrey, Vladimir, Daniel, Timothy (Madalyn) and John; and her sister-in-law Theresa Groeller.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home (100 Elton-Adelphia Rd, Freehold Township, NJ 07728). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Co-Cathedral of St. Robert Bellarmine (61 Georgia Rd, Freehold Township, NJ 07728). A burial will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Old Tennent Cemetery (454 Tennent Rd, Manalapan Township, NJ 07726).
