She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hornchak and Marie Elsie Hornchak (Worden); her son Anthony Chizmarik; her brothers, John and William Hornchak; and her grandson Michael Arnold.
She is survived by: her husband John Sokolowski; her daughter Michele Arnold of Bayonne; her siblings, Rose Minni, George Hornchak, Dorothy Torre and Sophie Klett; her granddaughters, Nicole and Desiree; and her great grandchildren, Alana and Connor. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and friends.
