He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Lou; and his daughter Kathleen. He is survived by: his children, Chris Irwin (Rosie), Tim Irwin and Kelly Henry (Andy); his grandchildren, C. J., Michael, Matthew and Maddie; his friend Richie Koenig (Carol); and his goddaughter Kathy.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Higgins Memorial (20 Center St, Freehold, NJ 07728). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. An entombment was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at the Maplewood Chapel (169 W Main St, Freehold, NJ 07728).
