She was predeceased by: her husband Deacon John J. Fitzsimmons; her son Daniel Stephen Fitzsimmons; and her brother Paul Desmond. She is survived by: her sons, John (Donna), Kevin (Claire), Michael (Ricki), Brian (Kathryn) and Neal (Pamela Fitzsimmons); her grandchildren, Katie, Molly, Patrick, Jack, Kelly, Mary, Megan, Declan, Caroline, Elise, Lauren, Ryan and Abigail; her sister Patricia; and her siblings-in-law, Robert Vargo and Loretta Desmond.
