He was predeceased by: his parents, Nick Pettincki and Diamond Pettincki; and his siblings, James Pettincki, Mary Zampella and Josie DeGuzman.

He is survived by: his wife Patricia Pettincki of Freehold; his children, Toni Pettincki of Millstone, Daniel Somers, Jr. of New York, Gwendolyn Somers of Jackson and Tammy Blancato (Tony) of Newtown, PA; his grandchildren, Fawn, Kandace, Kayla, Luc and TJ; his great grandchild Owen; his sister Antoinette McChesney (Mickey); and his pets, Roxy and Foxy.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home (100 Elton-Adelphia Rd, Freehold Township, NJ 07728). A burial was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the C. Doyle Nj Veterans Cemetery (350 Province Line Rd, Wrightstown, NJ 08562).
