With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael Vincent Alessio of Freehold, New Jersey, born in Teaneck, New Jersey, who passed away on January 17, 2023 at the age of 44. He was predeceased by: his mother Karen Umstead. He is survived by: his stepfather John Umstead of Freehold Township; his father Frank Alessio; his stepmother Fredi Alessio of Valhalla, NY; his brother Frank Alessio (Queens) of Astoria; his stepbrothers, Craig Applebaum (Jeril) of Suffern, NY and Mark Applebaum (Tiffany) of Utah; his aunt Corine Van Dort of Mount Vernon, NY; and his uncles, Barry Edelstein (Karyn) of Arizona and Ken Burke of North Carolina.
