It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lugenia Pearl Jefferson (Freehold, New Jersey), who passed away on May 5, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her daughters, Glynis Hammond and Dr. Attallah Brightwell; her brother Mack Harris (Verlepta); her grandchildren, Saleem Brightwell, Ali Brightwell and Yasmeen Brightwell; her nieces and nephews, Robin Major (Billy), Nya Major, Halle Major, Dr. Caren Craig, Solana Craig, Randall Craig, Jr. Randall Craig, III (Sharon), Ryan Craig and Argentine Craig; and her close friends, Dorothy Wright, Lillie Hendry, Audrey Taylor (Robert), Karen Suozzo-Tessein, Valerie Darden, Marie Meadows, Jane Rumble and Thelma Williams. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
