Laura A. Gier Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Laura A. Gier of Freehold, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 15, 2025. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Laura A. Gier to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her son David Gier. She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Thomas (Kevin) of Marlboro, Maria Gier of Morganville and Jeffrey Gier (Elizabeth Stanley) of Manalapan; her grandchildren, Brandon, Olivia and James; and her siblings, Angelina Helm (John) and Jerry Salerno (Rosalie). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home (100 Elton-Adelphia Rd, Freehold Township, NJ 07728). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Co-Cathedral (61 Georgia Rd, Freehold Township, NJ 07728). A burial was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Old Tennent Cemetery (454 Tennent Rd, Manalapan Township, NJ 07726).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Co-Cathedral of St. Robert Bellarmine.
