It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elaine T. Johnson of Freehold, New Jersey, who passed away on October 29, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Boston and Emelda Giraudel. She is survived by: her children, Angela Kathleen Bertrand-Ward (Lynn), William C. Johnson Jr. and Treasured; her grandsons, Christopher Hobson, Paul David Roscoe Jr. and Pierre Colon; her children-in-law, Louis Ward and Laurie Johnson; her granddaughter-in-law Destiny Hobson; her siblings, Michael Boston, Gwendolyn Douglas, Oliver Boston, Peter Boston and Agatha Boston; her siblings-in-law, Harper Douglas and Leona Boston; and her nieces and nephews, Mary Shillingford, Angela Rodney, Decima Barracks, John Boston, Latisha Douglas, Jeffrey Douglas, Julian Douglas and Caryl Boston. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Vander Plaat Memorial (113 S Farview Ave, Paramus, NJ 07652). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
